I recently placed an order for a bunch of Black Orc Games' miniatures.

What drew me to the company was the fact that there are quite a number of very useful figures for $1 USD or thereabouts in their mini-sculpt range.

I ended up buying about $60 USD worth of figures, including a few of ther Panthera tribe range and a bunch of excellent creatures and monsters that will be very useful for dungeoncrawling in 4th edition DnD. Check out their Beholder-like "Gol Groth Tharr the Evil eye of horror"… A drooling eye with wings!

Also, their skeleton dollies are very cheap, look great in the flesh (so to speak) and will be useful as dungeon filler and victims of a gelatinous cube I'm going to make.

There are a number of cool plants and bits and pieces like summoning circles and the like. All for around $1 USD or so.

I also picked up some of their $1 USD chinese warriors. I pretty much got a warband for Chaos in Cairo/Carpathia (or any pulpy game that fits the bill) for about $5. USD

The shopping cart unfortunately did not accept my order from Australia, but I emailed the site and got a very prompt reply requesting that I provide them with the details of my order and they would fill it manually.

This wasn't hard to do as I simply copied/pasted the shopping cart contents to an email and sent it off.

I received a reply very quickly with a very reasonable shipping rate. No gouging here!

The minis arrived very quickly and completely intact. There was no flashing on the figures and the mould lines were minimal and very easy to carve off or file.

The figures themselves are great. Nicely cast with most having slot tabs (I removed most, but they are still very useful) and all being supplied with a plastic black 1 inch/25mm slot base.

A good experience like this makes you want to get the figures painted, so they've all been prepared and primed, waiting for the paint brush over xmas!

Cheers and merry xmas.

What did the shopping cart do to your order that it would not accept it based on the fact you are in Australia..

Ah! It said something to the effect of "Cannot ship to your location". As mentioned though, easily solved by sending an email to them direct.
