So is anyone actually gaming with the charming Toy Town figures from Eureka? I am sorely tempted, but have resisted so far. I turn 60 on Wednesday, and figure I deserve a treat!

I've been thinking about it…

I make my own figures of (sort of) that style: wooden-warriors.blogspot.com

Despite how they look they are actually easy to make and paint. And CHEAP, as long as you buy online rather than from Michaels.

There are a whole bunch of us using all kinds of materials to make these style of figures. link

Technically, I have not gamed with them yet, but I am using the Eureka Toy Town Soldiers and Teddy Bears for a Santa Clause game that I am building. The Toy Town Soldiers are very easy to paint, especially if you are painting without shading or highlighting in the classic Toy Soldier manner.

Also, Dale's Wooden Warriors are awesome and show off his creativity and artistic ability.

I'm organizing them to use with "The Complete Brigadier" ruleset…..

Herb Gundt…would you please drop me a line at pilum40 at sbcglobal dot net? I need to ask you a question about a set you built years ago. It's off topic here but am trying to get replacement parts for it. Please drop me a line. This is a serious request.

Thanks!
