In the "polish early war" topic lasalle012 suggested that Forged in Battle were going to produce Miniatures for the Polish Black Brigade.

That certainlly got my intrest after BF told me they weren't going to make these.

I emailed FIB a couple of days ago asking about this but havent yet recieved a reply. Being impatient I thought I would post and ask if anyone know if this is true, and if so where we can see more details such as content and release dates?

I know about other manufacturers who make figures for this unit. Im sorry but I dont like the True North cost or modeling, and while the Outpost figures are slightly cheeper they dont have much variety in special weapons. I am very keen to see what FIB, and a modern sculpt, come up with.

The 10th mech is a very cool subsection of WW2 early war. Love that unit.

Thanks Aliosborne, I much appreciate the info. I cant wait to see their cavalry!

I didnt realise they had started on early war until I saw that post and checked their website, and I couldn't see any information about up and coming products, or any news for that matter.

You need to send your requests to FIB, Im only a friend of Andy/Wendy's and not involved in th ecompany

Andy only likes to list releases when he knows they will be out around that time, he doesnt want to list them then big delays etc, and disapoint people.

He is very approachable at shows and will always chat about things. or just send him an email

There a bit busy at the moment due to the snow, the area is covered and its hard to get to the unit etc, so hence may be slow in responding

Andy has lots in the pipeline, loads of new stuff coming

Thanks

Are there any plans for you to have a US distributer?

Our US Distributor is FRP he carries the whole range.

Another question that I have is are there any plans to come out with Early War Poles for the Black Brigade.

Yes, also we have cavalry, a/t rifles guns and tanks in the pipeline and much much more for all. This 15mm range will continue to grow …………..

I have started building my EW force using Battlefront figures but they have no plans to produce any figures to represent the Black Brigade. Do you have any plans on attending any US conventions….I am the President of HMGS-Midwest and we run a very nice convention called Little Wars.

Thanks for the invite, we have been over to Fall In and Historicon in the past but Forged in Battle is keeping us so busy it would be hard at this time whilst growing the range to be able to afford the time to come over. Maybe you could have a word with Shaw at Warpath/FRP to see if he would like to attend the Show.

It would be very nice to have you as one of our vendors.

Good to speak with you Jeffrie.

Regards
