There will be an EW 1500pt Tournament as well as some event games. One of the event Games will be EW French vs German. Gembloux Gap. I just ran this one at another convention and it proved to be a very challanging game for both sides. The Game has a German Leichte Panzer force, around 2300pts attacking to secure a bridge. The Germans are hampered by restrictive terrain, soggy fields and swollen river that all require bog checks. The river has a bog check of 1 or 2. The French have 2300pts as well, with half of their platoons in reserve…elements of 1st Cuirassiers that arrive on the flank of the german advance. The 1st Cuirassiers have the same problems with terrain to be overcome as the Germans. The second event game will be an Arnhem Bridge Mini-Campaign |

I am also thinking of running an Early War Polish game. I have several scenarios in mind. So Far my Polish Forces consist of the following:
Bn HQ, w/mortar section
Inf Coy: 3 inf platoons & 1 HMG platoon
Inf Coy: 3 inf platoons & 1 HMG platoon
2 ATG platoons
1 Inf Gun platoon
3 Artillery batteries 2 tank platoons
1 tankette platoon
1 Artillery battery Soon I will be adding another Inf Coy (full strength) and recon platoon. I would like to hear from anyone interested in attending the convention. Especially those that would be interested in hosting a game? |
