Does any have information on the uniform of the Karabiner Regt during the Napoleonic period?

Do you have the full regimental name of the unit? The name does not seem Swedish, at least not with that spelling. Where did you find it?

I believe that Schoenen is the German name for Skanska and that it's the Skanska Karabinjar Regt. that bkim4175 is looking for. (I apologize for any misspellings in the above as I'm not home where the books are handy).

I can point you towards a few places

"Between the Imperial Eagles" by the Swedish Army museum has the uniforms during this period.

link has a lot of pictures – don't know if it includes your exact one

I think you might find something on the sword and sabre site;
swordandsabre.com/serv02.htm

There is also an excellent site on the Russo-Swedish War of 1808-09 which has uniform details but I'm not sure if it covers the unit you are looking for:

(I have a feeling that one or both of the sites may be run by TMP members. Apologies for not giving credit to them but I don't remember where I found the links.)

According to link
(translated by Google, with a few finishing touches by me.)

Skånska karabinjärregementet was one of the regiments that were transferred to Pomerania in 1813. The regiment used the model m/1801 until the year 1814 in which they received a new uniform. The jacket was blue with yellow stripe. The pants were blue with yellow stripe. The head covering was a shako with hanging horse hair plume and white banner. In 1825 it was changed to a helmet similar to the life guard regiment of dragoons wore. The knotted belt was replaced this year with a sash of the same type as the infantry wore.

Are half decent representations of the uniform worn by the Skanska Karabinjärregementet. Neither is fully correct due to incorrect colours in the first one and odd details in some places in the second.

This is the most accurate drawing of the regulation uniform available picture
Unfortunately I don't have it in colour.
The same artist drew the regiment during their charge at Bornhöft 1813 picture
Both of these were made in the late 19th C or early 20th C by Carl Hellström who use surviving uniforms.

In 1812 Swedish painter Carl Stefan Bennet captured the Borby squadron of the regiment as it was marching out on parade & excerise. picture
His painting fully captures the distinctive yellow colour of their equipment. Eyewitnesses noted their apperance as the regiment arrived in Germany in 1813 in their yellow undress uniforms which earned them the nick name of canaries and old fashioned tricorns.

Sorry I should have used the full name. Skånska karabinjärregementet is the unit I am referring to. The regiment was part of the Swedish forces that fought under Bernadotte in 1813. It was part of Wollmoden's mixed corps under the Army of the North.
Thanks for the various site links.
