Hey guys
my three boxes of Hexagon, two of Plaformer and two Biotoxin are now in the mail. I'm looking for info from you guys as to how to paint them
I've seen some great photos but no step by step guides…I'm unsure how to go about it (undercoat – white or black?, oils, do I just spray can them silver then wash with rust colored paint, base them up or not…) so all help muchly appreciated
Cheers
S

If you're going to spray paint them silver, don't bother. They come in silver/grey plastic. All I did for my Hexagon/platformer stuff was a couple of brown and rust washes and then a light drybrush of metalic on the vents. Unfortunately the only pictures I have don't show the paintjob very well at all.

The paintjob is servicable, but what really makes it pop is being properly based. Here's an in-progress shot of the piece that appears in the above blog post. picture
