Hi all! Just thought I'd share the final AAR of the Check Your 6! BoB campaign I've been running at my local club for the past 5 months. This was the biggest game by far with a total of 21 bombers and 20 fighters on table at the outset. The campaign has been a lot of fun and has seen some good games involving clouds, AA fire, top cover and multiple CABs! I hope all the participants had as good a time as I had running it. I certainly think that it has converted a couple of folk to the rules, especially as they got more experienced and we brought in a couple of house rules, such as trading altitude changes for hexes and narrower arcs of fire. link |

It was an excellent campaign, well run with a good variety of games which always looked good. I would say that of course, having accounted for three of the four British fighter losses on Tuesday :o) I think I might actually have managed to equal Gordon's overall tally! In true Luftwaffe fashion, of course, most of my victories were against considerably less experienced pilots, but I did manage one veteran in the last game. |
