Eureka Miniatures has a free set of rules that are great fun, Gloire from Rattrap productions is designed for that period, and there are some great rules easily adapted
"the rules with no name" for example would work well with a bit of tweaking (which I am working on at the moment). Edit – I see the link from MrWigglesworth are to the Eureka ones. |

Redoubt Miniatures and Black Hat IIRC both do sets. WSS magazine did a Legegends of the Old West spin off as well. It can be found here

MrWigglesworth's link is a good one. There are some other supplements to go with it too, which perhaps he will be kind enough to share, e.g. optional rules, and scenarios, if I recall correctly. They certainly permit one to get into the overall spirit of the movies. |

I cant find the original downloads on the Eureka site, but I have them saved, so I can email the rules and any supplements if anyone is after them. |

Not really skirmish, but if you want a fun way to resolve duels (quite a few in Three Musketeers!) we came up with a set that is very visual, easy and quick to play: link I would also recommend the old Yaquinto game "Swashbuckler". How many other games have rules for throwing plates, cups and slipping on beer?!?! Super-fun if you can find it. TPC |

I must confess that I had Yaquinto's Shawshbuckler in mind when I wrote my LotOW variant. :) Olivier |

There is "Un por Tous" which is a LotOW variant. It came out before LotHS. The latter could probably be used with very little change. |

Olivier are there any plans to add to your rules ie the stuff that was published in Vae Victus magazine? Or anything else you may have come up with? Graham |

I have the original rules I produced for a participation game which I have added to the Black Hat Downloads page here: blackhat.co.uk/downloads.php thanks Mike |

I have rules that I've run at cons for years now. They do require a GM, but they have been received well each time I've brought out the set: PDF link |

We've had a few gamess of Gloire which have been fine. I think the key thing about skirmish/swashbuckling games is that you need effort on the scenario and the scenery for it to be a good game – rules help of course. |

Wow! More rules
motivation to paint faster
thanks guys!!! P. |

@bruntonboy: You mean the campaigns for "Un Pour Tous!" ? I do not plan to translate them : 1626 – Conspiracy of Chalais and 1627 – Duel in Paris are only available in french at the moment. |
bruntonboy | 21 Oct 2010 5:10 a.m. PST |
Are these campaigns available on the web in French then? I can just about understand written "wargamers French"! I enjoyed the two scenarios on your website so was hoping to see more. Graham. |
SgtPerry | 21 Oct 2010 5:44 a.m. PST |

I know this is an old thread, but if anybody reads this, does anyone have a link to a set of rules for this. Called ‘It's pronounced Dumas…"? I remember I use the mini years ago and liked them for convention games because they were so easy. Can't seem to find my copy, however. Does anybody remember where they came from or have a copy? Thanks, Dave. |
