If you're not in a hurry then I would wait and see what Forged in Battle releases in May/June. According to an email answer to my questions they are going to release Polish cavalry and motorized cavalry packs towards the summer.

Those look damn awesome, can't wait for their release!! Finally dismounted cavalry and 10th motorized cav that looks great with the quality to match the rest of the FiB Polish infantry I already have!

Interesting indeed. I was not intending getting the correct motorised troops but these do look worth consideration. BTW, how do the FiB mounted cavalry compare to / mix with the BF ones? I have a box of BF cavalry and would like to perhaps bulk them up to a full company.

Battlefront are too big in comparison, so I would not mix them within the units. Also I'm still hoping for a cavalry with sabers from FiB, I really dislike the idea of both Battlefront and FiB opting for the parade ground weapon which wasn't used in battle.

Thanks for that. Looks like it will be a one or the other then. I played against a Polish mechanised cavalry list where all the gun crew were converted dismounted cavalry, the cavalry had nearly all been converted to sabres.
