iirc the Royalist cavalry got stuck on the wrong side of the river when a bridge was washed away by the thaw.

How went the day in your replay?

Well, it was by these Wigmore Warriors people – they were kind enough to explain what was happening: Fairfax appeared to be getting around Byron's flanks, but I left before the dénouement.

How did you play the bridge washing away? Was that just an unlucky dice roll?
