My Sudan project continues. I'd like to field a rocket battery or two for my 1880s British and Egyptian armies. can anyone suggest a suitable manufacturer, or is scrastch-building the way to go? Would normal British and egyptian gunner figures be acceptable?

And, possibly branching out to a new colonial aspect. Any recommendations for Fanti / ashanti figures for the later campaigns of the 19th century? I know Irregular have one figure listed but are there any others?

Old glory has some 7lb rocket batteries included in it's zulu war artillery pack.

A company in New Zealand did a rocket battery crew for their 15mm Maori War range back in the 1980s. The crew wore wide brim hats.

I agree wit hLeidang. Call Old Glory 15mm and see what they have.

You might have to use a Napoleonic rocket stand and use crew from a later range.

I would use the "ask question" link. Usually, their staff are not always at their desk to answer a phone call, but they do respond to their emails.

With the right crew, scratch building would not be that difficult. I just post photos of my 18th century mobile rocket battery at my blog.

The Maori War rocket stand was not like the Napoleonic one. It was a wide long platform rather than a prop frame.

Here is a picture of my zulu war rocket battery. The crew and trough is right out of the OG package.

The packed rocket battery on the mule was customized.
