Please look at the poster/banner shown at 2:36 in this clip: YouTube link Is there any way of duplicating that in miniature, as a poster of sorts? Thanks, Dan PS. By the way, this one is not the one I want: link |

Pause the video at 2:36 then press "Print Screen" on your keyboard. (Should be to the right of the F12 key.) Then open Paint or other graphics program and press 'Control V' to copy the image into Paint. From there you can select the image and copy only the part(s) you want into a new Paint document. I don't know what quality of image you are going to get when it is printed but if it is only going to be for a miniatures game, it should be fine. |

Awesome! I'll do as you said. Thanks so much. Dan |

Does that button even work anymore? I thought it was just a leftover, like an appendix. |

Print screen is one of the bestest keyboard tools ever. Second only to Ctrl C and V |

Agreed, I use Print Screen (or PrtSc) all the time for things like this. |

To embiggify: open Colonel von Bismarck's image in an image processor such as Photoshop or The GIMP. Select all (Ctrl+A), copy (Ctrl+C), open a new document (Ctrl+N), paste in (Ctrl+V). Now go to "Image Size" and set the resolution to, frx, 300 dpi. Voila! |

Jeff, I don't have Photoshop. What's "The GIMP"? Thanks, Dan |

A giant panda attacked me while looking at the poster. |

It's not too bad. If you had The GIMP, a free, open source editor almost as good as Photoshop ( gimp.org ) (and I speak as an Adobe shareholder) you could rotate the picture about 3 degrees to the left and then either crop the gold border around the bottom left off or else extend it all the way around the poster. Otherwise a good job. </image geekery> Oh, and nice screen grabs, Plynkes! |
