"
Feral Small Children
" Isn't that redundant? I thought all small children acted feral if allowed

Hmmm
very difficult to compile a top-10. Loved monsters since I was a pup! Think I'll have to split this into books/movies and mythology since both have had a massive impact on my life. Well
here goes: Mythology 1- dragons 2- kelpies and each uisge's (what's the plural of each uisge? each uisgean? by the way, it's pronounced "ech"-as in loch- "oosh-kya") 3- sea monsters, including the kraken and serpents etc (there's just something about big things living in the deep dark oceans that puts the shivers up me) 4- werewolves 5- the minotaur 6- black dogs (Black Shuck, Muckle Black Tyke etc) 7- Cerberus 8- the Nuckelavee 9-animated scarecrows (specifically pumpkin- or turnip- headed scarecrows) 10- el chupacabras movie/book 1- Giger's Alien (the original!!) 2- Cthulhu 3- the rancor (Return of the Jedi) 4- Smaug (The Hobbit) 5- pretty much all the goblins in Labyrinth 6- Combat Boomers (Bubblegum Crisis) 7- the Skeksis from Dark Crystal 8- the Borg (Star Trek TNG) 9- the Sea Devils and the original Silurians (Doctor Who- 3rd Doc) 10- Pumpkinhead, probably for 10th place (from the film Pumpkinhead) As I said it's so difficult because I really love other monsters like Gwanji, Godzilla/Gojira, the Terminator, zombies, graboids, Bahamut (the dragon form the Final Fantasy series, not the Islamic cosmic whale), the Great Aa'Tun to name a few, and I was sorely tempted to slip Gyarados in there too, thus allowing my obvious coolness to drop somewhat
