Hi all,

During my research for the Philippine Campaign of '42 I've discovered that the US Army was still using the old French 37mm infantry gun from WWI. Here is what the thing looks like:

Does anyone know of a company that makes these things in 15mm?

No, sure don't. I'd like to see one instead of scratchbuilding one. I bet a figure company could make, oh, three or four friends at least, by producing one.

Wait for Flames of War, Pacific.
Then everyone will hop on the bandwagon.

No-one makes them. I've scratch built a couple for my 1940 French.

ALERT!!!
I was just browsing the paper Old Glory catalog I picked up at Historicon.
Blue Moon has a 15mm Great War range that is in progress.
A "37mm Light Support Gun and Crew" is listed for both the French and Americans., but N/A.
My guess is Fall-In availability.

Not 15mm, from all reports.

The Japanese also used a very similar weapon, though by WW2 it only seems to have been used by paratroops.

Irregular Miniatures has a whole page of unusual guns in 15/20mm. Some are pictured but most are not. At a quick glance I did not see the US gun but did see listings for Russian, Japanese 37mm guns. There are also crew packs available for different wars. Take a look and see if anything sounds like what you are looking for.

After another look at the Irregular Minis page I did find a listing for the Japanese Type 11 gun which according to the Wiki link above is based on the French/US gun.

"Gun Type Thirty-Five £1.25 GBP
Japanese type 11 infantry gun 1922 – 1945."

Good luck…

There was a Eureka 300 Club request for these but it seems to have disappeared from the listings. As some French units still had them in 1940 they may turn up in an 'EW" range at some point.

The Irregular Type 11 should work then, but as you mentioned, the range is billed as 15/20mm, so is likely to be large.

They are designed as oversize for 15mm, undersize for 20mm, to be compatible as both.

Exactly. Neither fish nor fowl. I ordered samples of some of the RUG range years ago, to test the concept. They are *not* compatible with either!
