Hi all,

I've just posted a report on a really fun game held at the club (Glasgow Phoenix) last night. This was the second game in a campaign and saw the RAF making good the disaster they suffered in the first (which I never got round to reporting, sadly).

Hope you enjoy!

Good job GoodWood:-)
The aircraft looked great.

We played a few games of BoB, CY6 and really enjoyed it.
Reading this is making me want to have another go at it.
Liked your clouds.

I'd just like to point out that, once again, it was the zerstorers which saved the (German) day, getting the solitary (fighter) kill and saving all the JU88's (ie, the formation that they had been escorting :). In the previous scenario the Bf 110's accounted for most of the kills too – there is a reason why the hurricane squadron is known as the 'Phoenix', and it's less to do with the name of our Wargames club than the fact that it largely went down in flames in the first game!

The random deployment worked well, and especially the 'top cover'. As I've no doubt that even the British might get top cover in future scenarios, every pilot will be 'checking their six' even when the sky seems clear.

Credit has to go to my brother for very quickly making the cloud stands. I was just going to have the clouds sit on the table, but raising them up has a much better visual impact I reckon.

@Joep, you should definitely get some CY6! action going. It's such a good ruleset and I've never played a game yet where I didn't think 'that was great'! I already have my shopping list for CY6 Jet Age worked out!! :)

Nice photos. We love BoB using CY6. We are also painting Phantoms and Migs for CY6 Jet Age.
