Why do they all hold the dagger like that? |
Tango01 | 01 Aug 2010 11:06 a.m. PST |
Good question Mr. doc mcb. Recently, I take note on movies, magazines and at home, that woman usually took the knife like that. Different way as us, men. Maybe because they tender to hit you by the back?.HAHAHA!. Yust kidding!. Amicalement Armand |

"Different way as us, men." The reverse ("icepick') grip can be extremely effective in close fighting. I would consider her a potentially very dangerous opponent, and keep her at a distance. Allen |

I would consider her someone who has no idea how to hold a knife. |

Not to put too fine a point on it, but She-ra's grip is a valid one. link |

See the climactic fight in the Steven Segal film "Under Siege", or any of the earlier knife fights in the same film. All the knowledgeable fighters use that downward-stabbing grip, and it looks very dangerous. |

Continue with the discussion about how the women used a knife, it's interesting to see that even as mutant they show a different stile. picture picture picture Amicalement Armand |

Well to be fair the mutant seems to have a preying mantis arm with a blade growth coming out of the hand. Or it just might be the angle that it looks it to me. |
