This is a project that had been simmering for the past year or so. Recently read Moorcock's Elric of Melniboné again and finally ordered and painted my first units. My latest postings at my blog trace the journey from idea to painted figures. 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.com More figures and photos next week. Cheers, Robert |

Looks interesting, looking forward to seeing how this develops. |

No doubt you are acquainted with the books, but I am also using the Games Workshop books as a guideline for auxiliary units or allies. After I finish the Sabretooth tigers and chaos flyers, I shall start on the two units of Beastmen followed by terrain items; city dwellings and fortifications. Three more weeks of vacation, so I am speeding along in fifth gear. cheers, |

I get so jealous reading stuff like this. I have around regrind in minis that I can't get round to painting because I rescued a herd of cats a few years ago, and to keep two of them from being put down, I adopted them myself. Now,they rule the house and demand to eat all miniatures that are exposed to the open air
I wanna be speeding along in fifth gear painting and doing terrain (at least they allow me to do a conversion or two every now and then. I have to distract them with squeaky mice and catnip though) |
