Has anyone tried using the new Wars of the Roses transfers/decals and banners from CitadelSix Custom Design? They look good and the range is expanding at an impressive rate. It would be interesting to hear from someone who has ordered and used them on Perry plastic WoR's. |

I have used them, as you would expect from something so small they are quite fiddly and it took me a two or three attempts to get the hang of it, after that I also put half a dozen on figures I had already based with no problem. Geoff sends along an instruction sheet with useful do's and dont's to help you along too. Unless you have very large units there are plenty spare if you mess up. I have not tried applying the livery banners yet, so cannot comment on those. |

I have ordered some of the WotR sets. I am wondering about getting custom made items. In particular, I would like some arm band insignia for Very British Civil War figs -- BUF flash, Anglican crosses, socialist/commie insignia. Any one have items designed by CitadelSix? I am thinking that having the actual arm bands would be too fiddly but how about paint on the band, and then just put on the insignia? Larger ones for vehicles. |
