Well, if Le Tondu is present on Sunday AM, he can
lead his forces against the Coalition, using modified

Gee Chuck, you're really pulling out all the stops for this one!

Well, we are hoping it is a great show! Lots of guys, having a good time wargaming. That is our goal.

What! That little fart on the white pony in the car commercial? I'd sooner have a good Elvis impersonator attend.

Yeah that's him. Is that the guy that's coming? I'm justa hunka, hunka burning love!

cturnitsa25 Jul 2010 12:22 p.m. PST

In all Seriousness the guy coming is Mark Schneider, and he does an excellent job. Knows the history of the period, the biography of Napoleon, and is also a wargamer. Trifecta!

Blue Devil 88,

I'd be interested in a game of Lasalle. We have played a few games here in Louisville, KY. But, I am certainly no expert! I have been trying to decide whether or not to bring any troops.

I'm not really a Napoleonics player but there are gentlemen in our group that are and would possibly be interested. I'll pass this on. Have you thought of running a game at our con to introduce the game to others. link Sam Mustafa I was told attended our first Muster but that was just before LaSalle came out. Maybe he will show for Guns.

Mark has played many Napoleonic games but he was just introduced to Shako II not too long ago.

I met the guy who impersonates Extra Billy Smith at the Bull Run CW Roundtable. If you want, I could ask him to show up next year.

cturnitsa27 Jul 2010 9:45 a.m. PST

VonLoudon – that would be great! Either for "Williamsburg Muster" in February, or "Guns of August" next summer.

See extrabillysmith.com. He's already booked for 2010 and I'll bet he's working on 2011.

Blue Devil 88,

Considering your suggestion about volunteering to run a game using Lasalle. However, I have several concerns that have to be overcome first, not the least of which is determining if I have enough room in the car for troops and terrain. My wife and I are starting our vacation with the convention. She jumped at the chance of going back to wander around Williamsburg again. Our last time in Williamsburg was about six months before our son was born--he's 32 now!

Bah! That's nothing. At this years Tank Fest Monty and Rommel were wandering round the show together chatting. :-)

Blue Devil 8828 Jul 2010 2:51 p.m. PST

Milt,

It's a great area to vacation at, as there is plenty to see and do. No problem with running a game as there are many other games to be run and played. If you can you can but the main thing is you have a great way to start your vacation.

The hotel is near the Pottery and all the outlet malls, so hold on to your wallet;)

So it looks like Napoleon will be there on Saturday, from 3 – 6 and will make a presentation before the evening raffle.

I hope that this is as fun as it sounds!

Only if he brings balloons and turns them into French marshalls.
