I know Splintered Light produces 15mm Lions, but does anyone produce 15mm Tigers? I am building a Pan Tang army in 15mm and can use some Tigers lead by Devil Riders.

cheers,
Robert

IIRC Irregular Miniatures do.
I am sure I saw some also on Eureka's website. Those might have been Irregular which are carried by Eureka.

My first thought was Battlefront, but wrong Tigers.

Yes, I also think Irregular does the Tigers in 15mm. Can't check rom my phone to be sure, sorry.

Peter Pig did one in a Vietnam character pack.

My first thought was everyone making WWII minis and then some . . . . . then I read the post . . . . scary that when someone asks for 15mm Tigers we automatically think Panzers . . . . . . .

Ah, sorry about the mix up, but I don't play WWII.

Did find the tiger listed under naked camel from Irregular and Peter Pig does list a large cat under Vietnamese charachters. He does not look particularly mean.

Thanks gents, any others?

Cheers

Pendraken make some in 10mm in their Samurai Apes range. Smaller pussies, what can I say?

kreoseus209 Jul 2010 2:17 a.m. PST

try magister militum, the old chariot minis range.

Kroeseus2,

Thanks for the tip. That was actually a Sabre Tooth tiger among the 15mm range, but I did stumble on a winged Angel for those visionary moments on the battlefield.

unitrecon,

I had thought of looking for smaller versions among a 25/28mm line and dropping its tail.

cheers,

The Peter Pig tiger is very nicely done.

I'm sure if you asked them they'd make up a pack of tigers.

M.Y. Miniatures in the UK makes a 15mm saber toothed tiger. It paints up great. Also, Mick is one of the best guys I've ever done business with.

@ boggler,

Thanks for the tip. I shall ask them.

@ Robert,

Mick Yarrow Miniatures do offer an extensive line of prehistoric beasts. Thanks for the tip.

Just out of curiosity, what figs are you using for the Pan Tang infantrymen?

@BWS,

This was a long process of searching various manufactures for something Melnibonean or Pan Tang.

In short, I opted for something closer to 18th weaponry and dress, supported by sorcery and tigers. So no medieval armoured figures carrying melee weapons, however, the uniforms and flags are very distinct.

My first posts are ready with photos, but I have one last tutorial to complete this current series. This one should be up this Monday. The 18th century Melnibonean/Pan Tang should be posted the week after.

Cheers,
Robert
