I was fortunate to get one of the Armaments in Miniature, pre-production, 1/200 scale, resin Douglas Dauntless dive bombers.

It's a nice little two-part resin kit (airplane and bomb). It comes with a steel screw in the belly which makes it ready to attach to magnetized stands.

I had some leftover decals from a sheet of I-94 decals that I used to finish this model (so it's North Africa and not the Pacific). I believe dedicated decals are planned (from The Goblin Factory).

For comparison I've included a Wings of War, Dawn of War Wildcat in the pictures with the AIM Dauntless. picture picture

I'm not keen on the fully closed canopy. You did a nice paint job though.

Really beautiful, I am really impatient to receive mine.

I spoke with Dave and he prepares us a 1/200 program really very tempting.
