Thought I'd share some WH40k: Rogue Trader batreps I put up on BGG a while ago. I tend to only be able to organise these things on holidays, so I usually give them an appropriate theme:

Enjoy

Interesting – There's a group here in Auckland doing the same. Will pass this along for reference sake.

I really wish that I had kept my old Rogue Trader rulebook. Those were the days.

Great stuff!

In my house RT is the only 40K we play, after my daughter (who is 7) promptly stated that she prefers old RT 40K to the newer and much more boring 5th ed 40K.

No arguments from me LOL!

Keep up the good work

Those are fun write-ups.
I love RT and luckily have some friends that do also.

The Chrono Juniors and I have been playing a campaign of Clone Wars-era SW using RT and WotC figures. Four scenarios in and they've got the hang of lightsaber throwing followed by force-grabbing them back in the Psychic phase…..
tried 5th Ed and couldn't get into it, much prefer the original, with the extra weapon stats from second ed…

I ran a Star Wars game using RT at Cold Wars earlier this year. The game played fast and the players seemed to have a lot of fun.

RT is a great little system that can be used for all sorts of things.

Rogue Trader was one of the first wargames rule set I bought..

I picked up a copy a coupe of years back at a bring and buy, for nostalgia.. then found my self say.. why on earth not use it again!

Infact, I now have 3 copies.. due to some carefull scrounging about at shows. It is a great system.

I am surprised there are not more folks using it. Copies can still be found, and of the expansions at shows etc.

Nice report by the way too.. Jabba the coisant was a touch of genius.. your kids will go far! lol

Oh Rogue Trader, my name sake (RT)….
Great game. I've almost entirely moved on to 5150 for sci fi now, but rogue trader will always have a special place in my heart (like for when I break out the beaky marines…)
