PaperTerrain will be releasing its new range of paper American Civil War miniatures at Historicon 2010! Available in 15mm and 25mm scale there are kits for Union Infantry, Confederate Infantry and artillery for both sides (Cavalry and specialty troops coming soon!). These miniatures are designed with wargamers in mind. Rather than provide individual figures that have to be cut out and mounted separately, the infantry comes in ranks of 5 figures that can quickly be cut out and mounted to bases. By printing them in a front-view/back-view orientation, you get to see your full-color army in all its glory instead of looking at them edge-on as with the classic side-view of tradition ‘flats'. And you can get a whole army ready for combat in just a few hours. No need to wait months to jump into a new period while you collect and paint your figures. And a whole army won't cost you much! The 15mm infantry kit includes over 1,100 figures in various poses, with uniform variations, mounted officers, and command stands for only $15.00. The 15mm artillery kits include 27 guns (in two different styles, 54 in all), 27 horse-drawn limbers and plenty of gunners. Our products are printed on heavy cardstock and are ready for use. Historicon will be the first time these kits are available anywhere. Shortly afterward, you will be able to order through our website. So, need an army quick and cheap? Try PaperTerrain.

Sisyphus says that that's a Good Idea, Scott!

Now, how about 28mm War of Jenkins Ear left handed Bavarian Horse Grenadier kettle drummers.

Scott, those look really nice. They're not available online yet, are they?

Also, have you given any consideration to making other periods, like the American Revolution?

Jeigheff,

Thanks! They will be available from my on-line store shortly after I get back from Historicon. If they are well-received then I will definitely look into doing other periods.

Very nice! I'm already working on a 15mm ACW army but I would be interested in a smaller scale like 6mm to 10mm. I could see using them for volley and bayonet. Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing them at Historicon.

jeez, those look easy to paint.

Very nice indeed, but I wonder why it has taken so long for someone to develope this. This looks like a " no brainer " for lots of periods in the future!! Best of luck!!

I'd like to see this done for the FPW and WWI periods.
