I just got a packet of both the 82nd and 101st Airborne shoulder patches in 15mm from Mustang Game Systems through Ebay
auction

Must say very impressed! Packs come with 40 shoulder patches and 38 American flag patches for the 101st and 40 of each for the 82nd. Detail is amazing! It is very hard to see the detail on the pictures but believe me it is there!

There is one drawback. To get the sharp colors the decals are apparently printed on white decal sheet. As such you must trim very close to avoid white outline. I suppose you could touch up with uniform color or decal color as well.

It sure beats painting them. Trust me, I've done 8 "Ranger" patches in 15mm for a skirmish "Saving Private Ryan" game and they were not easy! Decals would be easier to get "right," however, I doubt that they are easier to apply! grin I may have to look into those decals myself!

I am kinda hoping, and urging him, to finish out D-day at least since he will have the 82nd, 101st, 1st and 29th. For US would mean just 4th, 90th and Rangers. For Brits he does have the Pegasus patch but wasnt worn on the Denison smock to my knowledge. Still he could do the 3rd and 50th Brit, 3rd Canadian and Commando patch.

Yes, I know leaving out armor and things like the Marine Commandos but still.

Anyone else interested in a line up like that?
