I too nominate myself. At least for the past 12 months. First feeling like crap for the past number of months in 2008 and 2009.
Then having open heart in June of last year, then when that was firming up in January, I developed a cataract and could not see. i could not even have eye surgery until I got cleared by the heart people. Finally last Thursday i got eye surgery and can see again.
So many lost chances for painting, mis-spelling on TMP posts, unable to go to some conventions. And people wondered why I was grumpy. I promise to be better next year. maybe I will be able to paint again. |

Wait, wait, wait…
What are the criteria for determining "Grumpiest TMPer?" Are they simply a grumpy person and self-report as such through their posts? Are we defining Grumpy only as it relates to topics here on TMP? Does the candidate have to be grumpy in an overall way, or simply grumpy about things that appear on TMP, or do they just have to be grumpy about whether things here on TMP relate to "all things miniature?"  Cuz I think Mal has some pretty darned compelling reasons for being grumpy and being considered a candidate here. I also think that Murphy has a pretty compelling body of evidence for what makes him so grumpy, but it doesn't seem like "Miniatures Issues" are what make Murph so grumpy I also second Allen's point about self-nomination! Sheesh, anyone who self-nominates just isn't grumpy enough about the whole process! Andy Welkley
