These are the metal ones I mean:

Basically, would they look proportionally correct (in scale), when compared to the height of a 15mm human figure?

Thanks.

I have a lot of 'em and they're all about the same size: no one scale. The velociraptor is about the same size as the tyrannosaur, etc.

I'd have to go measure them, but IIRC the more popular ones would be either a touch too small or too big for 15mm. The raptor might go well with 30-35mm, for example.

Given that dinos had a lot of different species using essentially the same chassis in different sizes, and that there is a certain amount of body scale distortion in a die cast toy anyways, you really have nothing to worry about. If the critter is oversized, name it megaraptor, scare the PCs, and move onward and forward :)

LOL.

I like how you think. :)

What, this Megaraptor?

If I know CC (of old, and the days of the daeodons), any old thing represented by any old model would be way down the list. I know it would be for me.

Think of it like the right colour and number of buttons on a Napoleonic uniform. 4th Regt. Prussian Hussars with olive-green dolmans… 95th Rifles armed with 1777 Charlevilles… Boogaboogabooga…

I stand corrected. :P But it's still wonky.

Wonky is a friggin amazing word, if you can accurately describe your product as Wonky, I'd buy it.

Try the rapters in the old "Jurassic Park" game that will fit better. They're still alittle big for velociraptors but they'll do in a pinch. However, they will work for a Dromaeosaurus which is basically the same beast. FYI…The TRex in that game is also good for 15mm, still a nad small but once again close enough.

I also needed dinosaurs for a Lost World scenario I was working on and because there was very little on the market made to a accurate 15mm scale (I've been diagnosed as a 15mm compulsive ; ) I had to do a lot of searching and matching. I eventually found some figures (after much EBay and email) that I could either alter or refine to fit reasonably well in that scale, but the rest I made.
Sometimes you just have to pick up the car and move it :)
