Fellow TMPers and Battlegames readers in particular,

Owing to a mountain of administration and other matters I have to attend to (including now having to look for residential care for my mother), I'm deferring the publication of issue 23 until mid-July.

I have simply reached the physical limit of the number of places I can be and how many things I can do at once and, rather than push myself completely beyond breaking point, it would seem sensible to get all this other clutter out of the way first, then concentrate fully on producing a high-quality publication.

As a result, BG23 will show July/August on the cover.

My apologies to those of you who need your regular fix, but I hope that you can bear with me for a few weeks while I get this sorted out. Some of you will hear from me via email in the meantime in relation to renewing your subs!

No problem Henry – hope everything gets sorted with the least stress for everyone. Gaming comes second to life (IMO).

Understand completely.
Family (in particular, Mums) come first.
All the best, and I wish your Mum all the best.
Cheers

I am fine with it. Thanks for letting us know in advance.

Life comes first.

It is worth waiting for!

Henry – life first. Priorities are so easily confused in business, but this is a hobby, no matter how passionate we may be about it sometimes.

And us BG regulars are used to 5 issues a year, and I think we always view the issue date as more of a guideline than a rule :-)

No problem Henry, I can wait. Family always comes first.

All the best to your Mum Henry and your good self

One of my oft-used lines is 'Real Life Always Comes First!' And you don't get more real than family.

Take all the time you need Henry, we can wait!

No problem. It must be very hard work to produce such a good magazine so you must be on top form to do so.

Good luck

Craig

All the best to you and your family, no one could begrudge you some time to get things sorted. Battlegames is always worth the wait!

p.s. the low priced pdf add on for paper subscribers is cracking and a real gift, now every issue of Battlegames accompanies me everywhere I go on my iPad, heaven!

Thanks for all your kind words, much appreciated. To update you all, owing to other matters having taken longer than expected, and my printer's press schedules, Battlegames 23 is now set to be published mid-August. The first of the new newsletters will be going out later this week -- if you've not already signed up for that, you can do so on our home page.

And we have Phil Olley's Classic Wargame Newsletter to fill the gap while we wait.

Good to get an update though Henry, so here's hoping it's a cracker
