All,

I posted a few quick images today on the Basement Gaming Bunker. Since I don't have the time to update the blog as often as I'd like this summer, I'm trying a double feature this week. Half is a review (and paintjob) of Rebel Minis Titan Marines, the other half is a painted teaser image of the 15mm terrain that I'll be releasing in the next month.

Enjoy!

The building looks great Chris. I know that I am personally really interested in the barriers, but some buildings may be in order as well . . . . .

I like the Titan Marines you painted. I actually planned to do some in a similar pattern a while back and have never gotten enough time to work on them. If you add some light or medium gray to the pads, it would bring them out a little more, but will also make them a little busy like my Woodland Camo versions. Maybe they really only need a little highlight of a bright unit insignia? Oh, I appreciate the "real painter" comment, but it seems very strange to me since my opinion is that I paint tabletop quality and not much better. I wander over by Cool Mini or Not on occasion to remind myself what "Real" painters can do, then I open my can of Army Painter Quick Shade and set to work. :)

Let me know when those buildings are ready for sale!!!

Awesome job, Chris!

I'm going to try to get some paint on my Titan Marines this weekend.

Mike, we need some Command and Heavy Weapons (Prod)!

Thanks, Warlock!

Jeff – you might be right about making them too busy… I do prefer your desert scheme to your woodland. The problem might just be that they came out a bit darker than I intended… I'm going to try going over the mechrite red on one of them with a brighter shade. That and a unit insignia might give it all that it needs.
