The Bauhaus Grizzly: picture Cool model for 40K too. The French Char Lourd F1: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FCM_F1 Fun fictional tank for a French offensive in late 1940-41 if the Germans hadn't invaded yet. |

The Akuyaku (it was the original "inspiration" for the Bauhaus Grizzly, to be charitable about it--frankly the Grizzly is a rip-off). link link |

The Tachikoma and the Fuchikoma. Some might protest at my calling them tanks, but I do honestly think they are (baby) tanks despite being walkers. They're described as tanks (however inconsistently) in their Wikipedia articles, among other places. link link And along the same lines, I also dig the Coyote Tankstrider from the Heavy Gear setting. It has both walker and tracked movement modes. picture |

Thomas is a Tank ENGINE ! And he's not really fictional – IIRC all the (original) series engines were based on real engines. The adventures may have been exaggerated a tad. |

Plenty of neat ones out there. I love the descriptions of the Slammers Blowers, the clean lines of the Ogres, and the elephentine look of the Halo Scorpion, but you've got to love the Mk XX Bolo. "For the honor of the Regiment." Rob |
