Hi all! I've attempted a review of Check Your 6! on my blog. It's my first go at a review and I tried to be balanced, but I'll be honest
there's not much I don't like about CY6! :) Feel free to take a look and I hope it's of some use to anyone out there thinking about picking the rules up. colourofwar.blogspot.com |

Hi Goodwood; Nice battle rep. and I agree with your review of CY6. The paint jobs on your aircraft looks great. When we first played the game a year or two ago, it seemed almost impossible to shoot down or even hit another plane and I was a bit down on the rules. But playing and learning the game really has changed my thinking about it and now, planes are going down in flames regularly. I think the rules are simple enough to learn quickly but give you a good feel for the period. The one thing we tend to forget during the heat of combat is "Pilot Reaction". I have tried to have a plan of attack, but it fades away as my pilots get into the swirling meelee. Have fun with it. Joep |

The one thing we tend to forget during the heat of combat is "Pilot Reaction". I totally agree! All too often I, and others, forget that you can shift your turn code, which is daft because it's such a cool mechanism! And thanks for the comments, Joep! :) |

Great AARs from two of my favourite rulesets. Your CY6 battle especially hit home. God, I love a hurricane and seeing it best the -109 like that just makes me smile. Jim |
