Simple question today. I am looking for 15mm raptors or, failing that, another small theropod in 15mm. I need something other than Tyranosaurus and Allosaurus.

Thanks,

-Eli

I do -- six different poses of Deinonychus. Should be available within 2-3 weeks, they are just getting painted up now.

Awesome!

Are they action-posed? Maybe a sneak peak of the greens?

I must admit that they are likely to end up as conversion bait but I'm sure some unspoiled ones will appear in my Hollow Earth campaign.

Magister Militum do a 10mm range, I use these as small dino's in 28mm.

Honorable Lead Boiler Suit used to do a "Mongolian Velociraptor" in three poses that was perfect for a 15mm raptor, but they discontinued their prehistoric line awhile back. Northstar has their prehistoric mammals, but I can't figure out who (if anyone) is currently carrying the dinosaurs.

The only thing that phrase is missing 'with webgear and assualt rifles'. grin

Well, animals don't usually use those things, but it might be cool to put some on the base to show what their most recent meal was. wink

We do one.

@nvdoyle – Stop reading my mind. That is what I had in mind for them. Having failed to spark enough interest to get them manufactured by somebody, I'm going to try doing a few conversions for raptoroid sci fi troops.

I'll point out that Khurasan's 15mm power armored troops come with two sets of guns apiece, which means you wind up with lots and lots of spares when you're done. Be a convenient source of parts if they fit his raptors (maybe on a scratchbuilt harness mount).

That's cool about the Khurasan PA troops. I have been considering using leftover Garn weapons to arm them. Heck, I even considered trying to model them up with gear that matched the Garn as some sort of extension of their space in my own games.

Looking forward to whatever you come up with!

QRF do a pack of 15mm triassic therapods. They are roughly man-sized. 'Ceolephysis' or something. Not really raptors, but close enough, though do not sport feathers.

I myself will order the Khurusan raptors as soon as they're available

Well Roger, my painter is working on the ogre beetle now, but once he's done, the deinonychus are next. And coming fairly soon, triceratops -- two different heads and two different bodies, each interchangable so you get four different end models (more probably as you can vary the head positions).

BTW my raptors are feathered. Like the current thought on dromeaosaurs, feathered quite heavily.

I'd like to see some small dino heads done, raptor type, to add onto existing space-suited figures.

Of course, complete figs would be nice too.

I'd love to see someone come up with some resin, or clear plastic domes to go on various 15mm Sci-Fi astronauts, or troops in battle armor. If we could get the heads inserted into them, that would be even better.

Instead of completely round domes, they might need to be elongated at the front of the helmet, in order to hold the snouts of the dino-men, but those would look really great, I imagine.

Jon,

I may have to wait for your feathered raptors. I love feathered dinos.
