Where can I find rules for playing Full Thrust using a hex map?
Thanks in advance,
Gryffen

There was a set called Hexcess Thrust published in the SFSFW journal RAGNAROK a few years ago – They might have been transferred to the website recently.

If you can't find them there, check with the back issue section of the Society website; And should that not work, try asking a member of the Society who might photocopy a set for you.

According to the recent article in Miniature Wargames, just use 1 FT measurement unit = 1 hex, and FT2.5 six-sided firing arcs.

I seem to recall a reference for 'VMS' in one of the early documents for Attack Vector. Seemed like tilting at a strawman to compare one's product to a derivative of another system, but that's a discussion for another thread…

Anyway, Google search calls it Vector Movement System, making it derivative of the optional vector system in FT. I'm not sure if either Hexcess or VMS can do cinematic.

Of course, our good editor is right that the Fleet Book rule extensions, referred to as 2.5, expanded the firing arcs to six, or is that contracted the individual arcs? ;->=

Interestingly, there are people that favor the original four. Makes a blocked rear arc REALLY impressive, as well as making the rosetta twenty-four points.

TheBeast, nope, that's a different item.

And yes, I have a copy of HEXCESS THRUST.

Can I get a copy or where can I get them if not from you?
