Hi, My name is Lola, and I am an 18- year old Japanese-American Girl. My hobbies include dressing up for Hentai Conventions, giggling and 5th edition WRG ancients, for which I have Several armies in 28mm, also old Avalon Hill Boardgames. I enjoy building Pick-Up Trucks, chewing Tobacco and love men with BO and beards you could hide a badger in.

Anyway, here's my question for all you men out there – what is the consensus on the new edition of Warhammer Ancient Battles? I have been playing Various forms of Warhammer since 1985, and after a fairly quick read through have a nasty feeling this one may have the fewest gratuitous errors, inexcusable Vaguenesses and down-right contradictions of any GW set to date, with the possible exception of Warmaster.

Yet everyone seems to be moaning – where's the love?

Pat

Do we have TMPs first transgender member? I suggest the OFM is careful where he puts his hands.

Just for Connard

Still working on my review. Up to page… you don't want to know. And I keep getting distracted by people buying my figures.

"…after a fairly quick read through have a nasty feeling this one may have the fewest gratuitous errors, inexcusable Vaguenesses and down-right contradictions of any GW set to date, with the possible exception of Warmaster."

Oh. Maybe I don't need to do a review now.

So how does someone born in 1992 (2010 – 18 = 1992) play wargames since 1985? Just wondering…

DeanMoto06 May 2010 9:37 a.m. PST

My hobbies include dressing up for Hentai Conventions
that's not a hobby, that's a lifestyle.
there are lotsa people called Pat you know,…

Oh. Maybe I don't need to do a review now.

Hi, My name is Lola, and I am an 18- year old Japanese-American Girl.

Of course you are…

I have been playing Various forms of Warhammer since 1985,

So you were -5 years old when you started playing…

Pat

I thought you said your name was Lola?

WarWizard06 May 2010 10:25 a.m. PST

If you are gonna make up a false identity at least get the names and dates right, try to make it a little intriguing.

Lola,

I have a question for you… what are you wearing? It's a WAB question … really! :)

Who asked this joker06 May 2010 11:36 a.m. PST

I have a question for you… what are you wearing? It's a WAB question … really! :)

Given that Lola is probably a middle aged, heavy set, bald guy named Pat, are you sure you want to know the answer to that?

aecurtis Fezian06 May 2010 11:39 a.m. PST

Inquiring minds…

Sane Max06 May 2010 11:59 a.m. PST

Bald? now THAT's rude

Why – I ask again WHY are people seriously going 'heyyyyyy she says she is 18 but has been playing Wargames for 25 years' and thinking they are clever, or going 'Heyyyy she SAYS she is called Lola but signes her self Pat' and feeling like Sherlock Holmes, but not saying 'her hobbies include Giggling and WRG 5th? NOBODY still plays WRG 5th _AND_ laughs. Gotcha!'

You've been on TMP for nearly five years (I thought it was longer than that!) and you have to ask that question?

Hey! Lola's account is locked!
That's just another example of The Man oppressin'!

Flat Beer and Cold Pizza06 May 2010 8:48 p.m. PST

Poor Lola. The first post was the most hilarious thing I've read in some time.

Capt John Miller06 May 2010 9:11 p.m. PST

I was dying. Then the next question that came to my mind was how many readers fell for that one. WRG 5th? Really? How many editions are there as I am not an Ancients player.

aecurtis Fezian06 May 2010 9:45 p.m. PST

Man, that's just wrong! This didn't violate the TMP sock puppet provisions. Is satire now banned?

Rise up, ye masses of oppressed!

Jigglejugs…
I think that's one of the lesser known daimyo clans. They were defeated in 1347 in a bid to place one of their own as shogun. In 1862, some of them made their way to the Confederacy in an attempt to reclaim their honor, if memory serves (hence the beards, trucks, and tobacco).

I could be mistaken.

No no no no no nooooooooo!!!! Say it ain't so! I was COMPLETELY fooled. No way! Incredible. :)
