I have looked at the Battlefront site, and I am stuck. I am trying to base up a platoon of late war SS Panzergrenadiers for Flames of War, and I have four Panzerschrecks that I don't know what to do with. Do they go one each on four different bases (mixed in with the other guys,) or do they all go on one base with an NCO? Thank you! |

I'd put 2 launchers and 2 loaders on a medium base, as one team. That's how many shown on pg25 and pg31 under Antitank section, as an option in the Headquarters. Edit – those pages are from Fortress Europe, which is the Late War supplement. Edit – got confused about base size, oops. |

I based mine with 2 panzershrecks, an ammo carrier, and a rifleman on a medium base, x2. See here (the two stands behind the CO and 2iC, on the bottom right side of the photo): picture |

I have seen pictures of panzerschreck teams in some of the books. They have 2 PS figures and 2 rifle figures (or loaders) on medium bases. I had the same question about Finnish PS teams, from the Late War PDFs, by the way. |

Impala, why don't you go to the FOW site, look for the SS-PZG and get the info there. However they have them is how the lord wishes them to be. But you will also get answers here. My way is an immediarte way. CP |

Look at the Spotlight article (which curiously does not link from the online store, like most do): link Check specifically the picture of the company HQ: picture You should have two Panzerschreck teams on medium bases. Each team consists of two gunners and two loaders. Allen |

Thank you all for the replies. My difficulty is thus: on the BF site, I see different models than the ones I am working on. Their PS's are two-man tube jobs like bazookas, the ones I have look more like mushrooms and don't have loaders. So I am having a bit of confusion as to where they go. |

Those sound like they're Panzerfausts. What boxed set or blister are you using? Allen |

Allen, the BF Spotlight link you provided shows me what I needed, thank you. And yes, they are 'fausts, not 'schrecks. I can paint with the best of them, but my period knowledge is a little spotty sometimes lol! So my problem is solved, and my thyanks again to the TMP community! |

OK, great! It's not necessarily period knowledge, as BF's assignment of 'fausts to "command teams" and in this case, having an option for specialized 'faust teams, adds a veneer of consistent organization in the allocation of Panzerfausts that may not have existed in real life! To recap, you should have eight figures equipped with Panzerfausts. Four can be used to upgrade command teams (three figures total, on small bases) as here: picture or here: picture or here: picture The other four can be used to create the optional two Panzerfaust SMG teams (it look slike BF went with three figures total on a medium base) as here; two 'fausts and one other figure per team: picture I think that's right
I am disturbed that I have any knowledge whatsoever of how to construct SS units for FOW. Besides my SS-Kavallerie-Division "Anne Frank's Little Pony". Allen |

I like the fact that with German "Mission Tactics" rule, if the Panzerfaust command team dies, the panzerfaust gets magically teleported ot a nearby base, and a corporal gets an instant promotion. "Here, Fritz! Catch!" |

Full of initiative, an Unterscharführer would be. And a good fielder, as well. Allen |
