Jez at Old Crow has re-mastered the 6mm Freighter and Tank Landing Ship models. The Tank Landing Ship now featureas a hollow bow and ramp to allow a model tank to be placed in it. For more details see link Andrew P.S. Apologies to all for the sudden flurry of posts, but after a quiet year for releases, thought it might make some TMPers happy, especially those of us who are in the UK, deprived of air transport due to the volcanic ash! |

I've always liked his ships and models in general, which is one of the reasons why I've been happy to voluntarily help him with the website etc. My main interest is the 6mm range, so I've been patiently waiting for more stuff as he's been able to get to it. Well now I'm glad to say more 6mm seems to be on its way. Because of my interest in 3D technology, under his direction, I can now provide basic building blocks for Jez's model making mastery, which has opened up a range of new approaches for him. I mix the paint, he paints the masterpiece! The fruits of this should hopefully become available soon. As a sneak preview, have a look at these two images which show very basic proof of concept draft models from early on in the design process; picture picture Andrew |

Aww, what the hell? With all these new products, Jez should just join up and be done with it instead of this proxy posting stuff (not that we do not appreciate the news!) |

They're nice – I have seen them in the flesh (well the sculpting material) and all the 6mm fans are gonna be pleased, I think. Because of their imminent arrival, they have been factored into the forthcoming book Hammer's Slammers: The Crucible TMP link Mind you – I hadn't seen the Drop ship with the compartment: nice work Jez. Actually – to talk a little more about both the book and Old Crow's new models, use the hammers-slammers.com link to see some new unreleased pictures of 28mm vehciles he's built specifically for the Slammer's range – there's a few on the front page (as opposed to the splash page) John T |

That is a great rework of the LCT – I will have to save my pennies for one, as my Brigade Neo-Soviets are going to need something to get them across large bodies of water :) And an improved Dropship too? It's always worth waiting for Jez and his releases . . . though I'm aching for the new VTOL Carrier

wow am liking the articulated 25mm APC/weapons platform – me likey! |
John Treadaway | 19 Apr 2010 9:57 a.m. PST |
The articulated vehicle has a flexible rubber joint in the middle but is part of a modular system. 4 wheel, 6 wheel, 8 and ten – rubber joint/no ruber joint, land trains etc etc. They are all really nice. John T |

I hope the Goanna's and Geckos make it into the range (even more so if there's a modular missile system available as in 25mm-like the Thunderbolts). There simply arent enough "workhouse" (jeep/truck type)vehicles available in 6mm. |
