Check out what this guy has done here: link Is that awesome or what? Could be useful for making a terrain piece for elves, ewoks, savages, gorilla-men, Swiss Family Robinson or who-knows-what, don't you think? Dan PS. The moment I saw it I realized that the tree portion could be simplified further, by simply buying and starting off with an aquarium ornamental resin tree, and then just concentrate on the platforms: picture link |

Great model but would be better plastered with dead Ewoks. |

Ok that's pretty cool! Could make for a good Tarzan game. Or added to a "Lost Island" game too! |

I was thinking about doing the same sort of thing using the new G/W Citadel Woods Set
link For my 6mm Terrain. The huge trees in 6mm would kind of remind me of what I saw in AVATAR
And add some feral structures of some sorts
 it could work

Neat post, thanks. I really like his trick of gluing toothpicks onto a foam rubber strip to make flexible walls and railings. Someone commented on that site about the need for foliage for proper looks and the trouble that imposes for playability
I haven't done this myself but I think I've figured out the problem
basically make removable upward tree extensions with foliage that would look like short-trunked trees themselves. Stick on, it looks great. Need to place figures, remove the folliage. Voila! |

Here's another one by Dalanshin. I believe he used an actual tree or bush for the framework. link Mark |
