I have already done a pair of 'varks from 429th TFS link but found another pair in the spares box. From a bit of research and the decals in my box I have gone for 101 and 114 from 430th TFS what I don't have is details of the tail band for this unit. The F111.net site says it is red and white and I can find F-16s in 1981 with a red and white chevron pattern band.

Anyone confirm the band design for the 1972 F-111A deployment

Just came across your post. I found this:

wp.scn.ru/en/ww3/b/793/3/0/20

Another source (United States Military Aviation: The Air Force; Robert Archer; Midland Counties Publications; 1980) states that the squadrons of the 474th had the following colored tail bands: 428-blue; 429-yellow; 430-red.

Hope this helps.
