The site notes 30mm but that is to top of head, so the modern 28mm-30mm I suspect

Euro 15 each for 30mm figures, no chance i'll waste any money on those,

20 bucks (USD) each! Looks like someone's trying to be GW.
Of course they will sell, but as for me this is definitely a
"No Thanks".

Yeah, nice but pricey.

Good to know that Lucas will not have to sell pencils in the street

richarDISNEY07 Apr 2010 10:57 a.m. PST

yEA… $20 USD a pop is…. Very pricey….
beer

28mmMan07 Apr 2010 10:58 a.m. PST

hmmm didn't catch the price…yikes.

CPBelt07 Apr 2010 11:05 a.m. PST

Uh….according to their website, these are 70mm figures not 30mm. They look great.

Hexxenhammer07 Apr 2010 11:05 a.m. PST

Expensive, but they're not game pieces either. They're display models.

f u u f n f07 Apr 2010 11:06 a.m. PST

I have seen some of the supers in a comic shop a while back. Even unpainted they were incredible.

Tsunami07 Apr 2010 11:11 a.m. PST

Nope, the site says they're 30's…There's two different figure categories, 30mm and 70mm.

I'll probably pick up the Han Solo, as it looks excellent, but will pass on the others.

fairoaks02407 Apr 2010 11:12 a.m. PST

CPB,

they are available in both scales,

They have both 70mm and 30mm on the site. They are fantastic but @ $20 USD a pop…I'll stay with my WOTC figs thanks.

CPBelt07 Apr 2010 12:09 p.m. PST

Oh, I stand corrected! I was trying to figure that out. For 30mm that are the best looking figures I have ever seen! I want them, but will probably never buy them--too many other figures to buy and the cost.

Oddball07 Apr 2010 12:29 p.m. PST

I'm going to drop $20 USD a figure on these when I can get the same scale figure from the Wizards of the Coast line of Star Wars figures on ebay for around $2 USD each?

I think I'll stay with the plastic crack figures I've been getting for the past few years.

SpuriousMilius07 Apr 2010 12:43 p.m. PST

The only Star Wars minis that I'd buy are Jabba, Leia in her slave costume, & Twylek dancers & bounty hunters.

Go check out this very funny deconstruction of the Phantom Menace: redlettermedia.com

Cacique Caribe07 Apr 2010 1:19 p.m. PST

Ha! They'll probably find 5 or 10 suckers that will buy them. Then they'll go belly up.

Hey Just had this idea…. GW should do Star Wars….

Wargamer Blue07 Apr 2010 3:33 p.m. PST

Cog Comp07 Apr 2010 4:35 p.m. PST

A new line of miniatures that consists of FOUR(!!!???) miniatures?

jpattern207 Apr 2010 4:53 p.m. PST

I do like that 30mm Han sculpt, though. Seems like every other pose has him shootin'.

Wellspring07 Apr 2010 4:58 p.m. PST

Tankisti, I already saw those reviews, but bless you for linking them. It's must-see tv!

Kelroy was here07 Apr 2010 7:29 p.m. PST

Bummer, from the post title, I thought I was about to find out who was going to get the WotC Star Wars license after WotC loses it.

IUsedToBeSomeone08 Apr 2010 1:56 a.m. PST

They are a set of miniatures for display purposes, more than gaming – no-one seems to complain when Andrea bring out expensive 30mm display figures….

Loads of people will buy them.
Depends what floats your boat.

I know many people that will not spend even a single penny on toy soldiers.

I'm going to drop $20.00 USD USD a figure on these when I can get the same scale figure from the Wizards of the Coast line of Star Wars figures on ebay for around $2.00 USD USD each?

I agree that the price is excessive, but if you're talking about pre-painticlix, the Knight stuff is much, much better. wink

Who is the amazing 30mm sculptor? They really are quite skilled at caricactures. I don't think Warmachine or GW have guys that good.

28mmMan08 Apr 2010 7:55 p.m. PST

I suspect it is a machine/computer cut miniature…not saying that it wasn't sculpted, just that it may be computer driven :)
