Hi everyone, I've started scratchbuilding a Citroen P19 halftrack (the Dragon Portee version) for casting for my own armies and wondered if others might be intersted? Here's a very much WIP picture: picture It'll be cast in resin with seperate wheels and tracks. I'm still short on referance photos of these so if anyone knows of any on the internet links will be appreciated. Rob. |

I am interested as well. I did some digging thru my (limited) library of reference books but did not find any photos. wwiivehicles.com has a listing under French Halftracks with some specs., but no photos are included. QRF (WWII – French – Softskins) makes 2 or 3 variations but neither the portee version nor the soft top infantry carrier. Fire & Fury WWII: Battlefront WWII has a "Free Stuff To Download" section on their website. Under "Unit Database" there are two pictures of their Unit Data Cards that show pictures of painted models. #FR-13 is the P-19 Portee with 25mm AT Gun and #FR-14 is the P-19 soft top infantry carrier. Wargames Journal website has an after action report called "Tale of Two Bridges" (Pegasus and Ranville bridges) that shows two photos of the model in a game (20mm?) Both shots are a a distance and do not show the entire vehicle clearly. |

:) Cool! I'm glad I'm not the only one wanting to do 1940's french. Cheers for the photo links, I've seen them before but the effort is appreciated. Would people like a driver moulded in? a la peter pig with a seperate head? I may even talk to martin and ask permission to package one of his heads with it. |

Would people like a driver moulded in? a la peter pig with a seperate head? Either way, too, but a version without the driver would be nice, too, for static display. You're welcome, Rob. By the way, the old Squadron/Signal book 'Blitzkrieg' has a photograph of a Citroën-Kegresse P19 halftrack staff car, if you didn't know about it. Cheers! |

I would prefer no driver moulded in. |

Rob, here's what I have: picture
link picture picture picture picture I have scans taken from French reference books as well.
Let me know if you want them, and I'll e-mail you what I have, which is rather extensive on French Army AFVs and such from the 1940 Campaign
