Does anyone know of a source for Martian Cloudships? Either in resin or maybe paper? The last mention of Cloudships on this board is from 2008. And unfortunately, the London War Room is long gone…

Thanks

J

Join the Space 1889 and Sky Galleons of Mars groups on Yahoo. They have a number of links or files for paper models of ships. Most are the British ether flyers but I believe there are also some Martians.

What scale were you looking for?

I would agree with Allen57. I am a member of both groups, and although the number of messages is limited, the files sections of both are full of information.

Also – what scale?

Check out Brigade Games they debuted at Historicon a Parroom Station Martian Airship Racing Game and have released a little Martain racing airship to go with the rules.

Watch TMP, in the next few months we hope to have the first of a range produced. Master model made by Dampf actually. :)

Check our website, it should be on the front page under coming soon.

Arsenale Shipyards. I mentioned them on my VSF blog a while back (maybe January?) as they were selling some via eBay.

They are out of Florida.

To Wolfgangbrooks.

It's great to see that the Martian Skiff will soon be in production. I had great fun producing the Master and will be purchasing and painting an example to go with my 40mm Flash Gordon miniature collection.

Wow. Those are amazing, aren't they?

Do the South London Warlords actually *sell* those models? Would they be willing to take on a commission?

FYI, so far, I'm a member of S1889, Space_1889, and Space-1889. S1889 has the most posts, and it and Space_1889 each have a fairly large file section.

Haven't seen Cloudships, yet. Thanks!

Don't you and me wish…

Still, plenty of ideas there; keep your eyes open for the Star Wars skiff, for instance. Last time I looked, they weren't crazy money on eBay, a good reason to hope you'll find 'em locally.

Arsenale says they are doing a larger airship, too. Not as nice as those beauties from South London Warlords, but still…
