I think that I might finally have found something that no one is making
Steampunk familiars. Does anyone know of any? Steve Jackson makes a clockwork cat which is cool, but I wanted to see if anyone knew of a monkey. My wife wants a clockwork/steam powered monkey
Oh the things we do for love
Also, conversion ideas are welcome. |

I was zipping around the various monkey possibles
looks like Reaper will be your best bet, for a starter miniature. Most of the small "familiar" pics are missing/broken, so you will have to search. I found one link but it has a powder keg/barrel
could convert into a steam barrel with gauges, valves, steam whistle, etc.. There are others there. I thought I saw a pirate miniature with a good monkey, black scorpion, but I looked and did not see it there. Sorry, good luck. |

Not clockwork, but
. How about some Fezed Winged Monkeys? link in 25/28 mm too. Those might work.

Might want to check Wyrd miniatures or Privateer Press. Both of their games have a strong steam punk feel to them. Also check out figures from the D&D collectable miniature game, clix games like Mage Knight & Horrorclix. |

MONKEYS!!! MONKEYS!!! There is something along that line in the Monsterpocaplypse range that might be converted to a steampunk look

The fezed winged monkeys are cool, but if I can avoid converting one, I will. The powder monkey is not bad either
I had seen that guy on the Reaper site, but again, no-conversion is better. I may just end up scultping one
But I am no sculptor. Freebooter just needs to come out with a clock-work familiar line! |

There is a cymbal monkey in the Reaper Evil Toys pack. I use the whole pack for clockwork familiars. picture |

If you are looking for a miniature that does not seem to exist and you are not all that interested in converting a miniature I would say your options are limited at best. Contract someone to convert one for your wife? Honestly, if you painted a regular monkey in brass/copper you may reach your goal without conversion. |

I can pop a couple of keys to insert into the monekys back instead of the wings, if you like. Nic EUREKA MINIATURTES |

Nothing to do with miniatures, but an interesting result from searching for steampunk monkeys: link The internet is full of weirdness. |
