is it true this is the amount of funds missing from our account at HMGS east if thats the case someone might have some explaining to do. |
| historygamer | 19 Mar 2010 2:52 p.m. PST |
There is no money "missing" that I aware of. Perhaps if you put some more facts into your post, that might help, as you make is sound like money is unaccounted for. That did happen about 6 years ago. Are you confusing the two situations? |

RUSTYCOP, Shake off the rust and investigate if you are as your name suggests. If not, call the PO-Leece and ask them to look into it. They are very good at this type of thing. Otherwise

Now this is all just total bull stuff. The truth of the matter is the board approved a one time payment of 83,000 and change to make me go away. for an additional 1K I agreed to cross the Mississippi. Simple economics. No men on a grassy knoll here. VR James Mattes |

"Why cheapen a perfectly good hobby with politics and money?" Now *that* would be a good question to ask at an HMGS-East sensing session. |

tabletopwarrior 19 Mar 2010 3:17 p.m. PST AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Panic in the streets, First Tiger Woods then Sandra Bullock now HMGS, OMG AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it's the end of the world!!!!!!!!! *NJH: If Sandra Bullock was into fat old geezers who know the button colors of officers of the 95th rifles serving on the Peninsula in 1809, we might have some juicy news regarding her and you-know-who on the BOD! Otherwise I'm staying with the idiots choice network – "The Bongolesian New Network, BNN the most trusted name in Fake News." I say give them a try they never get anything correct, but they're more fun. |

Is there ANYTHING about Historicon that American wargamers like? Is there ANYTHING about the people who put in the work, that American wargamers are satisfied with? Is there ANYTHING some of the critics won't attack?
|
| Ed Mohrmann | 24 Mar 2010 3:46 a.m. PST |
Mal, there are over 27,000 members of this forum. Probably, a thousand or so of them have been to an Historicon. Concerning Historicon (or other events) the number of posters who are negative in their posts are a very small fraction, indeed. I started running gatherings for gamers in 1971. I've always welcomed the 'why did you
' or the 'why don't you
' or the 'What were you thinking !' comments as a way to potentially improve our events. We'll be doing numbers 45 and 46 later this year, and look forward to more opportunity to improve. May the best of good fortune attend your upcoming convention. |

Mal – I think the vast majority of people LOVE Historicon! That's why we have been so vocal in our dismay over what has been done too it. |
| firstvarty1979 | 24 Mar 2010 11:33 a.m. PST |
Historicon is great the way it is IMHO. That's why I (and many others) think they should have left it alone. |
