Hi Gents, I hope everyone is doing well this evening. As per a posting by Mr. Tony Barton of a 1/6th scale British Waterloo figure (incredibly well researched and beautifully worked by Mr. Barton, as always) seen here: link . May I ask the boards opinion on the use of the D section mess tin during the time of British involvement in Spain and Portugal? Would this item be classified as more than or less than typical during this earlier period? Thank You, Bob |

Did the 27th not have buff facings? Those look more yellow. Also the webbing would have been buff, not white, I thought. At least that's what my Haythornwaite uniform book shows. |
