For all those interested – C&GII has now established a new website. The new site link is: carnageandgloryii.com I've also uploaded some photos of three of the C&GII games we ran at Cold Wars, for which Saltanovka, 1812 received one of the 'Best of Show' awards. Photos of this and other games from Cold Wars and earlier conventions can be found here: link npm |

Your tables and figs were gorgeous! (And I was surprised the 40mm figs didn't overwhelm the table.) |

Schogun, David Bonk, who ran the 40 mm AWI game, is a true artist when it comes to both his figure painting and terrain setups. The table for Shabakunk Creek was 6' wide and easily 15' long. The figures are based to the same size as he would 25 or 28mm figures, and we use a ground scale of 1" to 25 paces [1mm to 1 pace] for movement and fire. The figures for the other games, Saltanovka and Merxem, came from the collections of myself, David and John Snead. I'm afraid I'm wholly responsible for the Merxem teddy bear/faux fur terrain. npm |

and the 1792-1795 period ? |

Duc de Limbourg, The Napoleonic system is nominally titled 'Wars of Napoleon', hence the period delineation of 1796-1815 [Italian campaign through Waterloo]. However, there's nothing to stop anybody using the that system for the earlier period of the French Revolutionary War, 1792-95. npm |
