I was up at ColdWars on Saturday only. While there I wandered around the games hall and noticed an interesting looking WWI game in the main hall. It was a huge affair that was just being setup and was a set piece battle between Russian and Austrians. All of the figures appeared to be Minifigs.

Does anyone know the individual that ran that game? I'd like to get in touch if possible and ask some questions about rules (ease of play, length of time), figure mounting and Ord-Bats.

Any help is appreciated
Donald

Howdy,

I believe it was run by Lou Valenti. I'll not post his email on an open forum without permission.

Did you see my Haelen game on Friday evening, or the Ourcq game on Saturday evening?

Ponder on,

JAS

No problem; I can be reached at (dhauser <> atsign >< nas <> period >< edu).

I'm curious about how the game turned out, ease of use of his rule system, time for games to play, sharing sources for the period, if he's interested.

regards

Our local group plays the EAstern Front 1914 World War 1 also and I'd be interested in hearing anything about that game also, please. Maybe a short report on TMP?

It was Lou Valenti and a good way to get hold of him might be through Dragonhead Distributors who was the supplier for most of the figures. I played in both that game and one of his German v Russian 1914 games at Cold Wars and had a great time in both cases.
