Anyone hear any rumors about any manufacturers planning a release of Austrian plastics? I know Hat makes them, but I am not big fan. I guess maybe we need to wait eight or ten years for Victrix or Perry to get to them. :( |

HäT is planning some 28mm Austrian infantry, "Germans" in helmets. link I've enjoyed their 28mm French a great deal. If they don't float your boat, why not try them in metal? Old Glory's second edition are nice, and you can get them for around $.60 USD apiece. |

Well, I am glad to hear some plastic Austrians are coming – how many new Old Guard Grenadiers do we need (with all due respect to the people who make them – and Victrix should get extra credit for the conversion potential of their set) |

That is good news. I've lloked at many of the metals, but I am hooked on plastic and will just have to wait for them. I can't wait to see the pics of the Victrix Austrians. If they are anything like the Guards, I will be very pleased. I wonder if the Perrys are looking at Austrians as a line? They seem to be focused more on the French/British lines – not that there is anythign wrong with that! Artillery would be nice to see too. Maybe with some limbers? |
