Just finished up my zombies for Incursion. I've still got more in the works from Reaper's Reich of the Dead and West Wind's SotTR. However I'd have to say I really like these the best. link |

Really beautiful work, CmdrKiley, if you can call a zombie that. I love your skin tone and the blood looks perfect. |

Thanks! For the blood, I mixed up a batch of bright red ink (from a Japanese pen company but it's very close to Citadel's Red Ink, I can't think of the manufacturer at the moment but I got it at Micheals) a drop of crimson India Ink and a drop of Reaper black ink. Thinned it all down with some future floor wax. However I didn't mix the inks together but let them sort of swirl around on their own. That way I could add darker amounts to the soaked in clothes and where I wanted the dried blood to be and the brighter red stuff to be where the fresh blood is. You might notice, some of the Incursion models have enhancements, which look like a box attached to the belt or the back and some pipes running into the body. I added some fluorescent green to the pipes and the sight glass on the box (the raised round circular section). I've done that with my Abgerzsoldats and some of my Mad Doktors for AE-WWII (this is my sort of homage to The Reanimator). Notice on the one Sturmszombie, who has a pipe running up to the back of his head that I've got some fluorescent green leaking out of the eye socket and his gut. |

I'll have to try experimenting with some inks. The paints just don't like this good. |

I'm sure CmdrKiley would agree with me: These are – quite seriously – some of the best sculpted minis I have put a brush to for some time. I'd better follow the Cmdr's example, and post up some pics of my shambling horde! Nice work too, Cmdr! |
