Fruits of the little bit of downtime I had on my recent Asia trip!

SL-11 USN 1919 Destroyer Design(5-5"/51, 12-21" TT, 4-18" TT)……..$8.00
SL-12 USN 1931 1500 Ton Destroyer Design (6-5"/25, 9-21" TT. Done is 1942 configuration)…$8.00

And a few from the real world:

SL-13 K-XIV Dutch Submarine 1941……………………………….$4.00
SL-14 Junon Free French Submarine 1941………………………..$4.00

SL-12 can be found in Norman Friedman's book on USN destroyers

Why did SL-11 propose 21" and 18" torpedoes? Were the eighteens for "snap shots" like on some British DDs?

No no Klebert…the Big ones were for big battleships and the little ones were for little battleships! grin

The 18" were indeed for close in snapshots.
