So many manufacturers doing 15mm out there, anyone have any plans to do something octopoid like? I could see some potentially cool technology and vehicles coming out of a race like that.

Do you mean like Black Hat's Cephalods?

Grabula,

What sort of creature are you talking about?

Do you just mean cephalopods in general?

I tried to do some googling but something similar to the cephalids, except less brainy and more octopoid if that makes any sense?

Hard to describe since the picture hasn't really formed in my head yet but since it appears like no one's done them I'll have to look into maybe hiring a sculptor or two for a small project.

I got this great idea for a vehicle I think would be fun to build but it would be a shame not to have troops to go with it.

I didn't realize Old Glory did 15mm…

good point JJ, though I ws thinking roughly man-sized. So if a human being is 15mm in height, so to would the octopoids.

Evil Gong had some 15mm Squidmen, although they were a bit larger than man-sized. I am not sure if those are still available from East Riding Miniatures or not.

couldn't find anything on east riding unfortunately

Think 15mm.UK do a set ? Have a squad painted and I think they're theirs ?

I'd love to see some land-walkers like the old SJG/TFT Octopus. Walking upright on four or five limbs and fighting with the rest. Some of them even wear armor.

We should have several octopi based minis quite soon.

Apart from the following greens like the jelly:

or the 28mm [huge in 15mm] Sea Demon

But more greens including octopi head sprues are scheduled for our World Wide Water.

May sound like a silly idea but go search through the various capsule toy suppliers for coin-operated vending machines, I've found many interesting 'unofficial' miniatures in such efforts. Good hunting !
