I've always had a soft spot for Tremors and it's sequels (yet to see 4 - the western - and currently going thru the series on uk sci-fi), but is there anything out there that would match a graboid (head or tentacle) for 28mm? I'm willing to bet that shriekers and ass blasters would be harder to match, but underground tentacles anyone? |

Top show. Bonkers. Utterly bonkers. But top. |

not that it appears to be shown in anything resembling a logical order... although while I'm at it... anyone know of a suitable Burt Gummer? |

I think Excelsior do a 'Desert Worm' or something like that for Chronopia… It's a suitably impressive piece, rising up out of the ground.. not quite a Graboid – it has massive jaws and a few sets of pincer forearms, but could be easily modified. Yep… here it is ( caution, gfx heavy for modem users ) : link Second one down; the 'Desert Crawler'. Perhaps hack an RAFM 'old one' to get the tentacle bits? -John |

Love the show! It has been shown in chronological order on UK-SciFi. It's just that some references to things don't get covered for a few episodes. 214? being the obvious example. It's mentioned in several early episodes but isn't explained until a flashback episode. I've done numerous searches for figures to represent the various Tremors monsters. If anyone finds them please let me know! |

You may want to try RAFM on their Call of Cthulhu line. There is some big worm like thing rearing up with a mass of tentacles. I can't remember the name, but I'm sure someone here will. |

Cthonian is the worm with the mass of tentacles. |

Reaper makes this excellent beastie called a Cavern Worm link |

Try Irregular Miniatures Dust worms . . . A touch Dune but workable, as they may have tripartite jaws, as in Tremors.

Actually, it would be fairly easy to sculpt a Graboid out of Sculpey or Fimo. Make a frame out of wadded-up aluminum foil, and sculpt on top of that. Except for the tentacles, there's not much detail on the beasties. Now, the Shriekers and AssBlasters, they're a different story. Much harder to scratch. Maybe put in a 100 Club request at Eureka? I'd sign up for a handful of each variety. |
